A HEART FOR 'THE VELVET'

Wow, it's been almost a month since the newest mini album by SM Entertainment maknae group Red Velvet was out!

But still, I can't get enough of them. Their feminine concept, and also the ballad song really caught me! Especially when I saw the image teasers for the album, I really love their outfits and photo concept.

Let's check them out a bit!

I really love this photo of Yeri! This cute young girl really got me with that pinkish blonde hair. The pink mini dress was also very cute, look at how it really matched with the colour of her shoes. Honestly, Yeri looks more mature with this hair colour and this kind of make up, but still.. she's gorgeous like always!

I also love the random white cups in this photo. The baby pink-white look really described a soft and feminine side of a girl. Shortly, I just love this photo! Her outfits, her pose, her footwear, the background, and also the cups. Love them all!

And now, let's move on to another member...

So... this is Seulgi bear! I personally think that Seulgi's full-body shot photo looks much alike with Yeri's. It's just like they switched the colours of their outfit and the background. As you saw in the Yeri's photo, she wore a pink mini dress and pink shoes, with some blue as her background. For Seulgi, it's the opposite. She wore a white-blue dress and blue (or black) shoes, with slightly pink background. Their poses were also similar, the cups too.

By the way, I like it how the background is covered with white curtain, so it shows silhouette of some buildings. :)

Talking about Seulgi's style here, I love her dress on the first photo. Her dress looked stiff, but since she has slim waist, she definitely was able to pull of this kind of dress well. There's not much change in her hairstyle, she cut it shorter, anyway. Still looks best as eveeeeer!

And...

Here's Joy! She looks so pretty and fresh with her new short hairstyle. And that yellow dress, I need to have it! ;p

Actually there's another picture of Joy wearing this dress (it's the one she poses like she opened the door), but I put this picture since it's a full body shot, so we can see her style clearly in this picture.

Her style was simply beautiful with that yellow waistline mini dress and black high heels. And she still looked cute with that style and pose. People said that she posed like she would jump out of that window! ;p

But because of that 'jump out of the window' pose, I can see something clearly! What a pair of beautiful long legs she has. I envy you, Sooyoung-ah!

Aaaaand this one. I love this photo so much! Joy looks so mature in this photo. And with that waist-cut black dress, she looks so pretty and sexy, different with the image she showed us on the first photo. And look at those paper boats, their colours were so pretty!

It's Wendy this time!! Actually, I love Wendy's teaser photos the most compared to other members. Don't get me wrong, I love them all! She looks so fabulous in this photo, and she reminds me of Ariel the Little Mermaid. With that red hair, and the mermaid skirt, and black crop top. And also the background that looks like she was deep down in the ocean, it gives more hype about the little mermaid. But unfortunately, we couldn't see her glamorous abs because of that giant boat paper!

Oh, and one more. I love how they used a sparkling drink for Wendy's cup. It's a really nice idea!

Besides that glittery drinks, Wendy's side profile really got my attention in this photo. She looks so perfect, and that blue contact lenses looked really good on her.

And last but not least, Irene Unnieeee!! (She's the only unnie for me in Red Velvet. :p)

I love everything about Irene! She's so freaking pretty, and she always looks good in every photo of her. When I saw this photo for the first time, the one that got me was her headband. It's sooo cute, I want it! The mini dress is cute too, with the wrinkle details on the chest. I recently sewn a dress similar to Irene's, but in size for kids. :p (I made it for my niece.)

Should I make one too for myself? Hohoho...

And this is another teaser photo of Irene! And I am sorry, I like this photo the least. She looks great in this photo, but I just don't like her sweatshirt. :(

And her tops looks so similar with the background ( I mean the colours). Love the skirt, anyway! And the apple.

Overall, I love the teasers! And I love how they made it was just Yeri on the bed at first, then the other members complete the photo in sequence with their teaser photos.

And this also...

I love how no one's face in this photo was clearly shown. It's just look nice, and in my opinion, it's a really beautiful photo of Red Velvet...

Recently I also have a thought to make a photoshoot with this 'The Velvet' concept. I think it's a worth to try. What do you think?
